The door card is now loose and can be pulled gently from the door. Last time it did it i gently hit the door skin in the area of the lock mechanism from the outside of the vehicle with the flat of my hand and it opened and has continued to work normally so far. I took it yo my mechanic who new what it was without looking at it. I found that by removing the rear door trim 4 big philips head screws at the lh lower base of the trim then pull out the bottom and sides and lift up at the top to remove gave access to the door lock mech.
